HOPE BY EVA CHAU’S REVIEW
Eva Chau’s debut book, Hope, is a cute rom-com, with lots of twists and turns that’ll keep you hooked up till the end! I quite enjoyed the story by the end!
It was quite confusing at the beginning, but everything started to fall into place as the story proceeded.
In addition to this, I feel the story pacing and plotting could have been much better. I got zoned out in the first half of the story. However, the story got interesting as it neared its conclusion.
As it’s a debut book, there are some loopholes that Eva is going to surpass in her upcoming projects, for instance, character development.
To sum up this article, I’ll rate this book 3 stars.

Thank you, Eva Chau, for this cute book.

HOPE BY EVA CHAU’S REVIEW POST
EXCERPT: HOPE BY EVA CHAU
Hope is a story about Ema, a young Portuguese lady who wants to finish her interior design degree and enroll in a new institution. Ema is an upbeat young lady who believes that everything will turn out well in the end. On the other hand, she meets Nathaniel Blackburn, an aspiring architect who has lost hope in everything, everyone, and life.
Their paths cross, and they are forced to deal with events that have a significant impact on their lives. From the minute their eyes connect, they must fight for what they feel is right for them and those around them, despite new obstacles, old secrets, and a lot of hope thrown in their way.
Will a single ray of hope be enough to transform their lives?
MY VIEWS ON HOPE BY EVA CHAU
They are Ema and Nate, two university students. Their lives, their love, their relationship, the difficulties they endure, the secrets they keep, and most significantly, their hope.
The tale starts dull, like any other college romance, but as it unfolds, we discover that it is much more. The storyline is well-written, full of twists and turns, and its secrets are likely to surprise you. One of the most crucial aspects of the narrative is that it applies to college students. The depiction of college life is “nearly” realistic. The book depicts how a series of events influence people’s lives and personalities. Each of the individuals has their own issues and lives to cope with, and the author manages to give credit to each “important” character’s narrative, leaving nothing unexplained.
I enjoyed this book since it gave me all the feels. The storyline is well-written, full of twists and turns, and its secrets are likely to surprise you. One of the most crucial aspects of the narrative is that it applies to college students. The depiction of college life is “nearly” realistic.
It tells the narrative of
If you think it’s just another romance story, you’re incorrect. The book is full of unexpected twists and turns that you won’t see coming. Another great feature of the book is that it includes a few monologues in Portuguese with English translations. I enjoy learning other languages, so this was a huge plus for me.
Finally, there’s the writing! Eva writes with ease and fluidity. Eva Chau has done an amazing job with the narrative, writing style, and everything else for a rookie writer. All of the characters are well-defined, with a great backstory that explains their relationships and responses to everything, which I adored. The plot has a lot of characters, but the best aspect is that Ema and Nate are always the centers of attention.
I adored how wonderfully each scenario was written, allowing you to experience all of the feelings that the characters are experiencing. The length of the book is ideal, with nothing added or taken away. Furthermore, there are many lovely lines to be taken, and unlike other books I’ve read, it doesn’t appear like the author threw up a philosophy book within.
RATE & RECOMMENDATION
“Hope” is a swoon-worthy, steamy, and hilarious romance that will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time! It has a fantastic cast of characters, a fast-paced and entertaining narrative, and is written in a lovely and poetic style. It contains dual POVs, which I normally dislike, but I didn’t mind in this case; in fact, I enjoyed seeing both characters’ perspectives on the scenario, and the author handled it brilliantly! Because she managed to construct two separate characters and get into their heads, describe the way they both feel and think, and let’s not forget, they were utter opposites, it seemed like I was reading a novel written by two different authors.
The title of this book is self-explanatory. Your heart will be flooded with hope as you read it. On the tale of the characters, their love, and, most of all, in yourself. With this book, Eva Chau did remarkable work.
This tale might motivate you if you’re going through a difficult time in college or if you’re fearful that you’ve screwed up something essential in your life and are terrified to fix it.
If you’re searching for a nice old-fashioned collegiate romance, this is the book for you. It’s a mix of all of them. The narrative isn’t your typical romance novel. It’s about the protagonists’ college experiences. It may also be classified as an adult novel due to the detailed representations of several situations. I strongly suggest this work; in fact, this is one of the greatest possible endings for the series.
I’m not going to give you any spoilers, so I’ll keep it brief, but you should certainly pick up this book; I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. The novel is well-balanced in terms of emotions. And once you’ve read the book, you’ll understand why the cover and title are the way they are.
